Reviews and Ratings
I can't recommend this hotel at all. My experience was quite frustrating from the start to finish. The location felt unsafe, and after a long drive, I found the doors locked with no one around to help. A huge letdown, especially when I needed a place to rest after a tiring journey.
During our unexpected stay at the Belmont Motel due to a snowstorm, we appreciated the warm hospitality from the family-owned staff and the fact that they allowed pets, which was a huge plus. While the room was adequate and fairly priced, it felt a bit dated, and some remodeling was underway. However, unlike many local hotels, they didn’t exploit the situation by raising rates, which was refreshing.
After a long drive, we arrived at the motel only to find no one answering despite the open sign. The lack of service was frustrating, and we ended up leaving to find another place to stay. On the other hand, if you appreciate older, well-maintained motels with character, this one might be charming for you, but it could be hit or miss depending on your experience.
My stay at this motel was quite the experience. It has a unique charm with its retro appeal and immaculately clean rooms, making it a solid choice for anyone who appreciates vintage places. However, the atmosphere felt unsettling at times, with a noticeable presence of questionable characters nearby. The price was definitely appealing, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone.
During a recent snowstorm, I found refuge at the Belmont Motel, which turned out to be a decent stay overall. The room was adequate and I appreciated that they allowed my dog, which was a huge plus. The manager was very accommodating and friendly, but I did notice that the motel is in the middle of remodeling, so some areas felt a bit dated. The price was fair, especially compared to other places in town that hiked their rates amidst the bad weather.
